Academic Team Trip

Well, last weekend, I went to an academic team tournament (State tournament, which was really exciting!). For those who do not know, academic team is basically like team Jeopardy (except you do not earn money). Two teams of four kids will sit at tables, and have signaling devices, or "buzzers". One person will read questions, and when a kid knows an answer, he/she will press their signaling device, or "buzz in". A computer operator will "spot" the player (call their name), and then the player will state their answer. If they are right, the person's team will get a "bonus" question. On a bonus, only the captain can answer (unless he designates someone else), and you can converse with your team. Each correct answer gets a point, and the team with the most points wins!

So, I managed to take some bad & okay & meh pictures. I apologize for the picture quality on some of them, but go ahead if you think you can take better pictures while sitting on a moving bus on a cold, wet day and the window is foggy. Be my guest. Not to mention, taking pictures from out of the window on the 18th floor when it is snowing.

(sorry, that's a lot of pics!)
