Bees and Wasps

Meep!
If, like one of my real-life friends, you don't like bees and/or wasps, this post ain't for you!

Anyway, getting on to the pictures, I FINALLY managed to get a pretty good picture!
Of a wasp.
The bees were too fast and blurry and horrible and mean DX
But this wasp was nice! :) He just sat there sucking nectar while I took several photos. But then, as would happen, I had to go and clean some boots (they had about ten inches of mud on them) and by the time I was back he was gone :'(
How do you like it? :p

Now bees!

 Meep! :3 I like this one! ^.^

And to round off, here are 2 random photos I took in the middle of the pouring rain, just before my sister and I got stuck in HORRIBLE MUD.

I'm currently trying to watermark my pics X3

By the way, does anyone know where I can find a good zoom in and cropping tool? (On the internet, I guess?)
Preferably free?

And don't remind me of the HORRIBLE MUD

  2. Adobe Photoshop would work well, but it's kind of complicated and isn't on the internet. Microsoft publisher works great to crop, and microsoft powerpoint is great for adding watermarks.

  3. I like the wasp photos. Good composition and depth of field. I was wondering, which camera do you have? I shoot with a Nikon D5100. I am working on a photography blog, I can show you some of my photos then.

I would recomend Google Picassa for simple photo editing and cropping. If you want to do complicated stuff like HDR, Gimp is good. Both of those are free. If you have the money, get Adobe Lightroom.

    1. Meep! Thanks lol! ^.^ I'm still trying to get a better one DX
Also, for most of my zoomed in and cropped photos, I do that on the camera itself so it's more blurry on the computer. But I've just found an ok thing which does it...ok! ^.^
My camera is a Nikon Coolpix....I forgot the numbers DX I can't find the camera right now lol!
You can get 'em on eBay (though I got mine new)....here's an URL: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nikon-COOLPIX-S3300-16-0-MP-Digital-Camera-Blue-/380601203803?pt=UK_CamerasPhoto_DigitalCameras_DigitalCameras_JN&hash=item589d997c5b
So, that's what mine's like! X3 It's a pretty small little camera, but it works quite well.

      Ok, thanks! :)

    2. Wow, I'm surprised such a little camera can take such good photos. I spent over half a year saving for my $475 camera. ;) You should make a MyShot account. It's a Nat Geo Kids photo sharing website. You can get awards and stuff if they like your shots.

    3. Lol! Dad's surprised, too! ;)
I do have one, I just haven't used it X3 it's a bit confusing, I find, and I'm not too sure whether it would be a good idea to put all my photos on the web...just my less good ones ^.^

    4. Why? They don't put the origional file online, just a smaller less-quality version. And if someone steals a photo, they get fined. So I think it is safe.
