Blossoms and Bees...and more! ^.^

Meep!
Right now, I've got a craze for photographing blossoms and bees. No idea why... O.o
Here're some bee and blossom pictures!

 Pwetty! ^.^

This one and the one below are the best bee pictures I got, I think.

It's so hard to get a good pic of a bee! They keep moving, it's hard to focus on them and also the branch they're on sways in the wind...anyone got any tips? :3

And here are some random photos!

Sunset...

Sunset... (same one, just a bit earlier, lol!)

Sun through the branches of a tree.

The stream/river! I took this picture today, the stream's water level has gone down a bit. But it should get higher because there was a huge storm yesterday! Really, REALLY HUGE.

Humbug up a tree!

And some mountains! ^.^
(Took this pic from my uncle's place.)

Hope you liked them, and any taking-photos-of-bee tips would be much appreciated!

  2. You could use a macro lens... it might be easier, and macro photos are usually of small or moving stuff like insects or birds so I think it'll help.

    1. I KNEW IT! Cos your photos were... macro-ish.
And I think if you study the way bees fly around flowers, then make the camera focus on a certain spot where you think the bee would fly to, and wait for the bee to fly into the frame, it'll be easier rather than to just like move the camera around the whole time.

    2. Haha!
Yes, I tried to do that! ^.^ (Two great minds work alike, lol!) But the bees didn't come D: either that or my shadow got in the way.
I haven't been able to take any more since then, it's been raining the entire time X3

  3. My tip: by a $1,000 macro telephoto lens.
